For those who have not tried it yet, it is a mask with a typical black colour , due to the fact that one of its fundamental ingredients is vegetable charcoal , an element with great antibacterial and antifungal properties . Its application on the face is recommended above all if there is a need to deeply purify the skin, without excessively attacking it. Compared to other astringent and purifying masks, such as the clay one, the black mask acts more delicately. In the case of very sensitive and reactive skin, however, you should always consult an expert before use.
This treatment originates from the oriental cosmetic tradition , but is now widespread all over the world, especially among the "beauty addicts" who want to solve the problem of blackheads once and for all. Its effectiveness is due to the particular components that manage to capture impurities, such as excess sebum or dead cells, facilitating their removal. The effect is immediate: as soon as the mask is removed, the skin is immediately smoother and softer, free from blackheads. It can be found in cream or fabric but its " peel off " formulation is depopulated, the most widespread but also the most fun: once removed, in fact, the blackheads remain visible on the mask.
For optimal use it is important to follow the right steps:
- Tie up your hair and wear a headband (if any hair sticks to the mask, removing it can be troublesome)
- Cleanse your face using a hot towel and press on the areas that will be treated for 3-5 minutes
- With a brush, distribute the product all over the face (or only on the T-zone, as needed), except for the most sensitive areas such as the lips and eye contour
- Leave on until the mask is completely dry and remove gently, starting from the chin
- Rinse your face to remove any residue and moisturize your skin
